Sander makes up one third of the Phocus Soccer founders and is responsible for the operational, coaching, and HR operations within the organization. Sander holds a degree in Sports Management and has UEFA and KNVB coaching licenses and certifications. Walking the talk; he has already amassed an impressive soccer resume having years of soccer camp coaching experience in both the Netherlands and the United States, coaching with AZ Alkmaar, and currently running the fastest growing soccer academy in the western part of the Netherlands – Phocus Soccer affiliate Central Progress. With a passion for exploring how innovation impacts youth players, Sander can often be found introducing novel workout regimes or the newest tech gadgets into his pupils training and is said to have invented the FIFA Skill Games. He has also supervised several Dutch Tours where American players were trained, coached and supervised in the Netherlands. With enough football experience in places such as Accra (Ghana), Maine (USA), Oregon (USA) and the entire western side of the Netherlands, Sander’s reach within the soccer market is extensive.
