Dencho is a co-founder of Phocus Soccer and is responsible for the strategic, player development, and domestic operations within the organization. He is a rising star within professional youth coaching as his impressive track record includes having coached various teams in the FC Utrecht and Feyenoord Rotterdam academies as well as holding a plethora of UEFA, KNVB, Johan Cruyff Institute, and Coerver Coaching licenses and certifications. He is passionate about implementing his background in Human Movement Sciences into soccer coaching as he works on helping top youth talent to reach their full potential. Dencho finds motivation in inspiring the next generations through his Faith and positivity, regardless of age or skill level. Being born on the Caribbean island of Curaçao, having played and coached in Maine, Ohio, and California, and now a native of Rotterdam, Dencho’s love for traveling and soccer is always present.
